| Introduction This PPX member is currently inviting a select group of companies to participate in a focus group meeting looking at the current approaches being undertaken by large corporations around Project & Operational Risk.Audience This PPX member would like to invite Programme, Project & Risk Professionals to a focus group meeting on the current approaches being taken by large corporations to manage Project and Operational Risk across their Organisations.Opportunity This members' Group Programme Office (GPO), have offered to present their current (tried and tested) & their proposed approach to Risk Management and Reporting, covering Project & Operational Risk. Their aim is to make the current Risk process more efficient & effective across the organisation and enhance compliance with an increasing number of external regulatory requirements. For sharing their knowledge & experience, this member would like to learn from the approach taken by other organisations in this topical area, through round table discussion, to understand how other organisations capture data, ensure quality, communicate and act upon the findings across interdependent programmes and projects. This member is inviting two representatives from five corporate organisations to their offices in London (date TBC). The objective of the day is to share and learn with the focus group through six presentations on issues related to Risk Management process development e.g. theory, planning, approach, data capture, quality assurance, reporting, assessment, review & mitigation. In return for presenting, the participants will also have the opportunity to engage with the group via a roundtable of their own, on a subject relating to Risk Management. Confidentiality All PPX Members and Xchange Participants are requested not to divulge confidential information during the xchange process. Knowledge transfer is enabled through sharing of information on process, approach, success and failures for the benefit of PPX professionals to learn, share and develop each others experience.
