| Introduction A PPX Member's Global Project Excellence Team are using Value Assurance Reviews to evaluate the health of Global projects within medium to large strategic programmes. The team are responsible for the independent review of 25 projects per year with a value of $10m+. Value Reviews are scheduled at two key points in the project lifecycle . Project pre-investment The reviews are conducted informally and are used to draw from the company's PM experience to provide peer group insight into alignment, progress, performance and benefits measurement. The benefit to the PM of these reviews is that they can talk to an independent panel of experienced PM's about potential problems to help identify & recommend resolutions to the steering committee. The independent team can also help by addressing issues across the stakeholder groups. Key lessons learnt are then shared across the PM community and used to construct training programmes.
