Introduction

Our member's Head of Project Services and Global IS EPO are keen to learn and share with peer group organisations around IS/Project Resource Management.

This member is facing Resource Management issues relating to:

• Strategy – policy, headcount, roles, capability, skills and sourcing (in source and outsource).
• Tactical – skills pools, allocation (across business units), tools

Some of the challenges being faced by the team include cross business unit resource sharing, organizational structure change, and commonality of approach to people, roles and projects, portfolio prioritisation as well as different sourcing strategies across international business units.

Audience

If you are responsible for IS/Project Resource Management within Project, Programme or HR roles and have encountered these problems, implemented these strategies and have some experience to share but also wish to develop your understanding then this member would like to invite you to explore these issues in collaboration with peer group organisations!

Opportunity

This member would like to prioritise their approach to gain immediate benefits based upon the experience and best practices owned by other organizations.

This member will share their approach (including limitations and considerations) and debate with you on these topics including:

• extensive research into Resource Management Models
• solution delivery process
• mandatory SOX compliant project management process (using Prince & PMI)
• capability development

In return for presenting your ideas/experiences you will gain the opportunity to debate the issues of interest to you and your organisation with the focus group.

Our member would like to engage with interested parties on a one to one basis or in a larger focus group in London/US and/or via teleconference around the world.
