| Introduction Would you like to explore the current approaches being undertaken by large corporations to develop Communities of Practice (COP) and improve Project, Portfolio, Change or Programme capabilities? Audience The PPX forum Champion driving this knowledge xchange opportunity is extending this invitation to the forum membership and selected organisations who are interested in sharing knowledge and experience around COP development. This invitation is therefore open to all Corporate Professionals involved in developing COPs within large corporations. Opportunity The champion’s Group Programme Management Office would like to share their experiences, gained over the last two years successfully developing global and regional COPs for capability improvement, with peer group organisations. In return for sharing their experiences, the champion would like to learn from the approaches taken by other organisations in this topical area, including: purpose, development, value, benefit realisation, sustainability and resource investment. Why not join in and trade your experiences with peers, discover different approaches, share in collective debate, understand why/how COPs are being developed, see how benefits are being realised, identify best practice and measure the maturity of your approach to communities! ‘Communities of Practice’ was voted the second most popular ‘people’ related topic in the PPX forum subject priority list for 08 Confidentiality All PPX Members and Xchange Participants are requested not to divulge confidential information during the xchange process. Knowledge transfer is enabled through sharing of information on process, approach, success and failures for the benefit of PPX professionals to learn, share and develop each others experience. Interest If this opportunity is of interest to you, please let us know by sending an email to services@xchasm.com or via the links at the top left of this page! All interested parties will be contacted to assess alignment with this opportunity and the organisations involved. Xchange engagements are conducted via one to one, focus group or conference formats. Xchasm's role in this activity is as a facilitator, we will also provide output documentation to all participants and drive actions taken from the meeting.
