Introduction

A Director of Commercial Management for Outsourcing would like to share knowledge and experience with interested organisations around Supplier Innovation within IT.

This ITPO member is inviting a number of organisations to their Innovation Centre to share ideas, thoughts and experiences around Supplier Innovation delivery within IT.

Audience

Our member is offering IT & Innovation professionals who have a focus on or responsibility for Innovation within their respective organisations to come along and engage in a day of collaborative interaction.

Opportunity

The day will be revolve around four sessions, namely;

• 1. Defining innovation - what does this mean to the customer organisations; can we get a common understanding and definition?
• 2. Supplier capability - what does a supplier need (technical and resource capabilities and competencies) to be able to demonstrate/provide innovation?
• 3. Contracting for Innovation - what needs to be in a contract to ensure measurable innovation?
• 4. Delivery - how can we ensure what is required is able to be successfully delivered and sustained?

Each of the four professionally facilitated, computer interactive, sessions are planned for about an hour, and will be followed by a group discussion on what works and what doesn't within the organisations attending.

The objective of the day is to gauge the best way to approach innovation with your suppliers and where to best spend your time i.e. achievable deliverables. You will be expected to share examples & experiences of what has worked and what has not worked in bringing IT innovation into your organisation.

In return for your input you will obtain the opportunity to engage with your peers from other organisations focussed on Innovation and receive an output report based on the days' discussion and colllective thinking.
