HBOS are currently delivering 700+ projects across their business units. The Group are driving Business and IT Project Management best practice sharing between these business units via the following initiatives:

• Project Management Forums (online & offline)
• Project Management Intranet Communities (350+ members)
• Project Newsletters (1,000 readers)
• People Development Programmes (Capability, Accreditation & Training)

The Groups purpose is to improve Project Management Capabilities across the organisation and ensure that the business and IT community consistently delivers better projects to their customers.

Additional areas of interest include:

• Utilising Project Management Methodologies (e.g. PrinceII, Six Sigma)
• Stakeholder Management
• Risk & Project Portfolio Management

HBOS are interested in talking to their peers in Group; Project, Programme, Human Resources and Best Practice functions with an active interest in the initiatives listed above. Delivering these initiatives across devolved organisational structures would be of strong interest.
